First Impressions
Some once said “You only get one chance to make a good first impression”
When you look your best, you feel your best.
How to accentuate your best features, by knowing what type of skin you have and knowing which products are best to use for YOU.
Dry Skin: is characterised by small pores and a matte (dull) finish with little or no superficial oil or shine.
Normal Skin: is heathly looking skin with a smooth texture. When properly cared for, line and wrinkles seldom form on this type of skin until late in life.
Combination Skin: is healthy looking skin with a smooth texture and some oiliness in the T-zone areas, with some signs of dryness on the cheeks and outer edges of the face.
Oily Skin: results when the glands produce to much oil, giving skin a shiny appearance. It is also characterised by larger pores than other skin types and is more prone to breakouts, clogged pores.
Mary Kay basic Skincare: for morning and night.
Cleanser:Removes dead skin cells through exfoliation.
Moisturizer: Enchancing the skin’s natural renewal process. Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Day Serum: SPF 22 helps energize the skin’s appearance.
Night Serum: Helps to smooth and firm the skin.
Eye Cream: Restores the supporting structure of the eye area to give a firmer looking appearance.
Eye makeup remover: Eye area skin requires a little extra attention.
Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30+ (Broad Spectrum): Helps block both UVA and UVB rays.
UVA (Ultraviolet A) is the most damaging of the two types. Think ‘A’ for ‘ageing’. It is considered a light x-ray.
UVA (Ultraviolet B) is known as the sun burning/tanning rays. Think ‘B’ for ‘burning’.
